The Furman Avenue Shelter is a gut rehabilitation of an existing 2-story building abutted by elevated MTA tracks.

​

The Furman Avenue Shelter provides 200 beds for single adults experiencing homelessness located in Wakefield.

​​

The building includes on-site program offices, a dining room, exercise space and showers. On-site laundry is available to clients.

​​

The shelter was completed in May of 2022.
