The Merritt Avenue Shelter is a gut rehabilitation of an existing 2-story building abutted by MTA tracks.

The Merritt Avenue Shelter provides 200 beds for single adults experiencing homelessness located in Eastchester.

The building includes on-site ambulatory healthcare offices, a dining room, computer room, 3 separate common spaces and showers. On-site laundry is available to clients.

​​

The shelter was completed in January of 2023.
