The St. John's Family Shelter is a gut rehabilitation of 3 existing 4-story buildings that will serve families currently experiencing homelessness in Crown Heights, Brooklyn.

The building will provide 102 one, two and three-bedroom units in addition to on-site program offices, support spaces, recreation and community space.

Amenities include 24-hour security, on-site laundry, community rooms and a computer room. SUNY ATTAIN currently hosts computer skills training and certifications for resident families and the surrounding community at the St. John's Family Shelter.

5 courtyards are planned for rehabilitation and improvement. The communal courts will provide both active and passive play spaces, landscaped areas, and exercise equipment.

The shelter is currently under construction and is scheduled for completion in the Spring of 2025.
