CLAUDIA GOUDAS

PRINCIPAL ARCHITECT,

CO--FOUNDER

Claudia Goudas was born in Colombia, where she obtained her Bachelors of Architecture from the University of Saint Bonaventure in Cali, Colombia. After emigrating to the United States in 1999, Ms. Goudas joined Harden Van Arnam Architects and became Senior Associate in 2013.  While at HVA, Ms. Goudas was Project Manager for many of the firm's projects, including CAMBA Gardens, The Sydelle, The Shakespeare Residence, and Bainbridge Manor.  She founded EQ Architecture with Cindy Harden in 2017. Throughout her career, Ms. Goudas has been committed to enhancing lives through thoughtful and meaningful architecture. Her passion for beautiful, dignified interiors and exteriors allows her to achieve balance between clients' needs and real-world sustainable buildings.  Ms. Goudas continually seeks opportunities to inspire, surprise and bring unusual materials to the supportive and affordable housing projects she is involved with. With more than 20 years of experience in the planning and development of affordable and supportive housing Ms. Goudas has achieved an extensive knowledge of the NYC building code, ADA requirements and regulations, funding agency design guidelines, and LEED compliance standards. Ms. Goudas lives in Ditmas Park, Brooklyn with her husband and two sons.
